By accessing and using Scholix, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using the platform.

By creating an account or using the Scholix platform (scholix.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you should discontinue use of the platform immediately. Scholix reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

All study materials shared on Scholix are contributed by students for educational purposes. Scholix does not claim ownership over user-contributed content but requires a non-exclusive license to host and display such content on the platform. Users must not upload copyrighted materials without appropriate permission. Scholix's branding, design, and proprietary features (including AI integrations) are the intellectual property of the Scholix Team and may not be reproduced without consent.

Scholix displays advertisements through Google AdSense to keep the platform free for all students. By using Scholix, you acknowledge that ads will be displayed on content pages. Scholix is not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. Ad blockers may affect the functionality of certain features. Revenue generated from advertising directly supports server costs, development, and ongoing improvements to the platform.

Scholix is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive to maintain accuracy, we do not guarantee that all study materials, quiz questions, or CGPA calculations are error-free. Scholix is a supplementary educational tool and should not be used as a sole source for academic decisions. AI-generated content (including placement analysis and quiz questions) may contain inaccuracies.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scholix and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, academic performance issues, or interruption of service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Scholix (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Scholix reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time through the settings page, which will remove your personal data from our systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Punjab, India.
